PMP Graduationk

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. June 15, 2007- Thirteen local deputies and police officers graduated Friday after participating in the Cherokee Sheriff's Office Professional Management Program. The program is presented by Columbus State University and the Law Enforcement Command College and includes five one-week modules. The curriculum is based on improving management skills and specifically teaches the students about leadership, managing marginal employees, decision making, legal liability, and budgeting.

Law enforcement officers from the Cherokee and Dawson County Sheriff's Office, Canton, Austell, Acworth, Alpharetta, and Cobb County Police Departments participated in the program.
