Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. June 20, 2007- A kidnapping suspect on trial this week for a 2003 kidnapping has left the Cherokee County Justice Center during the middle of his trial. Ruben Manuel Lopez, 32 years old of Woodstock Georgia, currently has an active bench warrant for his arrrest. Lopez left the Justice Center this morning driving a 2005 black Toyota 4-Runner tag number ATG9366 but also has access to a 2003 silver Nissan Maxima tag number ATH3143. Lopez has been out on bond since his arrest and was not in custody when he left the courthouse. Anyone with any information on Lopez should contact 911 immediately.
