Arrest

Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. July 17, 2007-William David Ledford, 41 years old of Canton, was arrested today on 2nd Degree Forgery charges after he turned himself into deputies at the Cherokee County Jail. The charges stemmed from an incident which was reported to the Cherokee Sheriff's Office in September of 2006. Ledford is accused of being in possession of a forged certificate of occupancy which he used in to attempt to sell a home that he owned as a builder on Beavers Rd. in Canton, Ga.

Ledford is currently out of jail on a $1,200.00 bond.
