Grogan Charged

Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. July 24, 2007-A man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred July 12, 2007 in the Toonigh community. Michael Classy, 21 years old of Canton, reported that he was robbed at his home by two unknown males that were brought to his home by an acquaintance. A safe containing money was taken from the victims home.

Russell Edward Grogan, 20 years of age, has been charged with Armed Robbery, Robbery, and Aggravated Assault. Grogan is believed to be in the Roswell, Georgia area. Anyone with any information about Grogan is urged to contact the Cherokee Sheriff's Office Violent Crimes Division at 678-493-4350.
