Bowling for Charity

Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. August 10, 2007- Deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office participated in a bowling league this summer to raise money for the March of Dimes. The March of Dimes holds a seasonal bowling league called “Bowling for Babies” to earn money for premature babies. The deputies had two different teams that participated in the event and one of the teams took second place. The tournaments were played at the bowling alley in Canton and raised a total of $1,200.00 for the charity.

Deputies that participated in the bowling league are Lieutenant Dana Martin, Corporal Irene Campbell, Sergeant Robert Benefield, and Deputies Jamel Campbell, Rodney Burley, John McGuire, Christopher Bryant, Olen Boughner, Bruce Holcombe, and Douglas Addision.
