Arrest

Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. August 15, 2007- Cherokee County deputies charged a South Carolina man yesterday with 3 counts of Aggravated Assault and Driving Under the Influence after it was reported that he almost hit 3 people including a juvenile while driving his vehicle in a Hickoy Flat subdivision. Michael Woodward, 50 years old of Belvedere, South Carolina, was also charged with Reckless Driving, Endangering a Child, and Open Container. No one was injured in the incident. Woodward is being held in the Cherokee County jail with a $37,000.00 bond.
