Acworth, Cherokee County, Ga. September 5, 2007- Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects Tuesday night for thefts and damage done to 3 boats at Harbor Towne Marina on Galts Ferry Rd. at Lake Allatoona. The damage which occurred over the Labor Day weekend was reported Tuesday afternoon. Leather seats were cut on one of the boats. A television, G.P.S., beer, and life jackets were also taken by the suspects.
Detectives were provided with possible suspects and were able to locate and charge Clinton Winburn, 23 years old of Kennesaw, and Ted Jones, 20 years old of Acworth. Both suspects were charged with Burglary and two counts of Entering Auto. They are both being held at the Cherokee County Jail and each have a bond of $22,300.
