Acworth, Cherokee County, Ga. September 14, 2007-Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Unit are releasing a video of an armed robbery of a Holiday Inn that occurred in the city of Cartersville on August 16, 2007. Cherokee detectives are confident the suspect in the video committed an armed robbery at a Holiday Inn in Cherokee County on August 24, 2007.
The suspect in the Cartersville video matches the description of the Cherokee suspect and both robberies occurred at approximately 2:00 am. In both robberies the suspect wore a white cloth on his head. The suspect is believed to be a white male in his late twenties or thirties, medium build, with a blonde goatee. He is possibly driving a black mid-size car with a spoiler.
