Ball Ground, Cherokee County, Ga. September 26, 2007- Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office have charged a Ball Ground man for possessing child pornography. Larry Randall Mathis, 37 years of age, was charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Child and was arrested Monday evening. He was in possession of photographs of a 15 year old Cherokee County female.

Mathis is currently out of jail on a $5,600.00 bond. The name and identity of the victim will not be released for her protection. Allegations that he touched the juvenile are still under investigation.
