Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. October 3, 2007- Cherokee Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect who fled by vehicle and on foot after a deputy attempted to stop the vehicle which was weaving on Bells Ferry Road near Eagle Drive Tuesday night. The suspect, Steven Sterling, 23 years old of Woodstock, pulled his Gray Ford Taurus into a driveway on Atherton Ln. The vehicle struck a tree in the yard and Sterling fled on foot. Sterling has a Failure to Appear warrant in Cherokee County and was driving on a suspended license. Anyone with any information about Sterling’s location is urged to call 911 or the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Warrant Unit at 770-345-3308.
