Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. October 17, 2007- Sheriff Roger Garrison is once again announcing the agency's reporting procedures regarding commendations or allegations of misconduct by employess of the Cherokee Sheriff's Office. This is done annually to maintain integrity and ensure the public's trust in the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.

Any citizen wanting to report incidents of misconduct by deputies or commend an employee of the sheriff's office for exeptional job performance is urged to do so. Incidents of misconduct include inappropriate language or gestures, threats, harassment, and/or illegal activity. Corrective measures include verbal conseling, written reprimands, remedial training, suspension and termination.

Complaints or commendations should be reported to the employee's supervisor or one of the following personnel:
