Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. October 24, 2007- Sheriff Roger Garrison recently attended the 19th Annual Southeastern Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar (SLEDS) at Joe Wheeler State Park in Alabama. Sheriff Garrison and other sheriffs and chiefs of police from across the southeastern United States received training in Executive Role Management, Police Discipline, Motivation, Media and the Law Enforcement Executive, Legal Issues for Law Enforcement, Power and Politics, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Managerial Styles, and Crisis Concepts for Managers.
Instructors at the 6 day seminar included members of the F.B.I. Academy from Quantico, Virginia and Birmingham Division F.B.I. police instructors.
Sheriff Garrison graduated from the 184 th F.B.I. National Academy in 1996. |
