K-9 Ballistic Vest Donation |
Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. October 30, 2007- The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit recently received a donation of a bullet proof vest from a local veterinarian. Dr. John Tarabula of Canton, purchased the $1000 vest for K-9 “Nitro” who is handled by Deputy Olen Boughner. K-9 "Nitro" is a bomb detection, bite, and tracking dog. K-9 “Nitro” is one of 5 dogs that is handled by the sheriff’s office K-9 unit. Thanks to this latest donation, all 5 dogs now have their own ballistic vest. |
