Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. May 28, 2008- Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Division have made an arrest in the May 13th armed robbery of the Chevron located on Highway 5 at Sixes Rd. Brian Hilderhoff, 28 years old of Canton, was arrested early this morning following the execution of a search warrant at his hotel room. The shotgun believed to be used in the robbery was located in the search. An anonymous tip led investigators to Hilderhoff. Hilderhoff was charged with Armed Robbery and is being held in the Cherokee County Adult Detention center with no bond.
