Acworth, Cherokee County, Ga. June 11, 2008- A week long investigation by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) resulted in the arrest of an Acworth man Wednesday morning. Joseph Hedden, 29 years of age, was charged with Sexual Exploitation of Children as a result of videos and images located on his computer. The investigation began with a tip from the Smyrna Police Department ICAC Unit.

Hedden is being held in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with a $5,600.00 and also has an unrelated outstanding warrant for his arrest in Fannin County.
