Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. January 9, 2008- Investigators with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children unit (ICAC) ended a lengthy investigation yesterday afternoon with the arrest of Nicholas Scott Eisenbach, 29 years old of Acworth. An investigator, posing as a 14 year old girl had been communicating with Eisenbach for 16 months on the internet. Eisenbach arranged a meeting yesterday with the investigator posing as a juvenile. The meeting was to take place at the Wal-Mart on Bells Ferry Rd. in Acworth. When Eisenbach arrived at the location he was taken into custody.
Eisenbach was charged with Obscene Internet Contact, Distribution of Obscene Material to a Minor, Violation of the Child Exploitation Act of 2007 and Violation of Probation. He is being held in the Cherokee County Jail with no bond. |
